We first met back in 2016 at an "Enposib" party in Brooklyn. The night was full of energy, music, culture, and great vibes all around. Dre swears I was “unapproachable” (his words, not mine), but truthfully, I was just being me, chill, enjoying the moment, not expecting anything more than a fun night out. Still, there was a spark. We connected on Facebook, and while life took us in different directions, we stayed loosely in touch over the years.
Fast forward to 2020. In the middle of a pandemic and so much uncertainty, Dre reached out to check in, not just on me, but on Meg too, who was just a little girl at the time. His kindness, consistency, and genuine care started to mean more than either of us expected.
We started connecting through fitness, cheering each other on, trading goals, and even promising to run the streets naked once we hit our milestones (don’t worry, that hasn’t happened… yet). Before long, we were talking daily. We bonded over cooking experiments, cocktails, playlists, and lots of laughs. What started as a casual friendship quietly transformed into something deeper.
Our first official date was on January 1, 2021. We welcomed the new year together, with full hearts and open minds, and from that moment, our story truly began. By summer 2022, we were living under one roof, building a life full of love, partnership, and laughter. Then in winter 2023, we welcomed our sweet Noah, who made our family even more complete.
And Meg, our radiant 9-year-old, is the heart of it all. She's smart, hilarious, fiercely loving, and the best big sister we could have asked for. Watching her bond with Noah has been one of the most beautiful parts of this journey.
Now, here we are, November 15, ready to say I do surrounded by the people who’ve loved and supported us along the way. This isn't just the beginning, it’s a continuation of a story filled with friendship, growth, laughter, and love.
We can’t wait to step into forever, together.
